The Ballater Angling Association was founded in 1983. It's members are drawn from within the United Kingdom. BAA activities cover a variety of fishing; wild brown trout in the mountain lochs, salmon fishing on the Dee (and the Don) with rainbow trout from lochs close to Ballater.

The Ballater Angling Association was founded in 1983. It’s members are drawn from within the United Kingdom. BAA activities cover a variety of fishing; wild brown trout in the mountain lochs, salmon fishing on the Dee (and the Don) with rainbow trout from lochs close to Ballater.

BAA have a wide range of local salmon & trout fishing on the Dee, Don, Muick & Gairn rivers along with fishing on Loch Muick & Loch Vrotachan, to enhance Loch fishing a boat is moored at Muick, with Vrotachan having an overnight cabin for utilising by members.

Membership is open to Local families (full membership) & none Local ( associate members), please check out  the BAA website for full range of activities.
