Ballater Walking Festival

This festival is run annually during the third week of May and is open to all.

We have walkers from all over the world who come to walk in our magnificent countryside. Normally three guided walks take place daily (Strenuous, Moderate and Easy) and evening entertainment is provided, culminating in a ceilidh on the final night.

Unfortunately, the 2020 festival was cancelled due to Covid 19 but we are planning to run a very different festival in 2021, with limited numbers on walks, starting mainly from Ballater (as no transport will be provided), and with no social events being booked at present. All precautions will be in place to keep our walkers and helpers safe.
